Men are not doing well right now - especially in a world that’s deeply wounded by the mans of men.

How do you heal in an active space of harm? I hear words like “men need to go to therapy,” and I also hear hate of men, the patriarchy. Me Too in the wake of Harvey Weinstein. Jeffry Epstein. Women chose the bear over men in 2024. 75% of the country heads are men.

So women are saying no. Korea took it to the extreme with the 4B movement (no sex, no birth, no dating, no marriage).

Then as a man, how do I sit in this discomfort that I too am the cause of harm to this world, and what am I going to do about it.

In 2025, a friend of mine reflected the annihilation energy that I projected out into the world, as “safe” as I tried to make myself, that energy remained within me.

I joined a group of 10 other men in a rites of passage and ritual facilitation training. It was in this container that I was able to express fully the woundings and angry within my body, without fear of causing more harm.

In a few weeks, I’ll be going out into the wilderness on a Vision Quest, four days in the wilderness alone, fasting, and praying. My intention is to be absent all the distractions of the modern world, and if given the chance to be only with myself, who am I, where am I going, and who’s going with me?

We’re raising funds for this work - as a way to push an edge of asking for help, and seeking for that help with our community.

It’s super cringe and hard to ask for money, particularly when it’s directed toward men, AND I don’t know any other way to making the world better than to addressing the source of the damage. I’m committed to this work, healing my own body, mind, and spirit - and going forth in the world aiding others in that journey as well.

If you have any questions, reply back. If you have a prayer you want me to bring with me, also reply back. If you’re reading this, reply back. I’m asking for all the voices to come forth as I head out into the silence.
